Manage Entries

However entries arrive, handle them in one place

Riders enter themselves online, you add late entries by hand, you import a CSV from your online entry system, or you complete the public form on a rider's behalf. Hors Concours, Move vs Transfer, bulk changes by spreadsheet - all of it lives in one Entries panel.

What you get

An entry workflow that respects how shows actually run

Real entries arrive by every route imaginable: online form, paper, federation export, WhatsApp message at 9pm. Skorie has six entry channels and treats them all the same once they land.

Entry channels

Public online form, Organiser Adds New Entry, Import Entries (CSV/Excel) and the dashboard for late edits.

Hors Concours, Withdraw, Retire, Elimate or No Show as a first class flag

HC entries are scored normally and their scores can optionally be included or excluded from display on the results. Distinct from Withdraw, Retire, Eliminate (with text reason) and No Show.

Move vs Transfer

Move changes the competition silently (only allowed when unpaid, unscheduled, unscored). Transfer withdraws the original and creates a new entry, preserving the audit trail. Use the right one for the situation.

Bulk Changes via spreadsheet

Export Entries → edit the CSV → re-import. The preview flags every warning before you confirm. Safe fields documented, unsafe fields blocked behind explicit confirmation.

Sections for sub-placings

Add your own categories in a 'Section' field and optionally have a seperate set of placings for each category, eg. Junior, Amateur, Open within the same Level One competition. Each entry's section is editable per entr and is reflected in the Rosette Requirement Report.

Notes only the team sees

Internal Notes on every entry are visible to the Event Team only.

Competitor notes for scheduling

Competitors can add their own notes to an entry eg, late arrival, sharing a horse, and these are available to the scheduler.

Change Name vs Change Rider/Horse

Wrong rider/horse attached to an entry? Switch the Rider/Horse. Wrong spelling across the whole event? Change Name updates it everywhere at once - and a SuperComp recalculation button is right there if it affects a league.

How it works

From an empty event to an entry list

Open entries

Set Public Start and entry open/close dates on Event Details. The public entry page gets its own short link, shareable from the Control Panel.

Riders enter

Riders pick a competition, confirm horse and rider, add any scheduling notes, and pay. Late or paper entries go in via Add New Entry or CSV import - same data, same dashboard.

Edit as the event approaches

Set HC, change Section, add Notes, fix a misspelled name, Move an entry to another class. Use Bulk Changes for big spreadsheet edits.

Manage the day itself

Withdraw, No Show, Retire, Eliminate from Control Panel. Recalculate SuperComp if a horse/rider relink affected an aggregated multi-event result.
